Pensacola Sports Association

Annual Banquet April 6

The Pensacola Sports Association (PSA) will host its Annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday, April 6 at New World Landing. The banquet will honor high school, college and the professional level athletes for their outstanding achievements.

The guest speaker will be Jack Lengyel. As the football coach for Marshall University from 1971 - 1974, Lengyel rebuilt the Marshall University football program and helped the community heal after the tragic airline crash involving the entire team. The movie “We Are Marshall”, starring Matthew McConaughey, was based on his accomplishments.

The Pensacola Sports Association hosts the Bud Light Charity Challenge in support of ARC Gateway and helps promote athletic opportunities for children and adults with developmental disabilities. For more information about their awards banquet, visit www.pensacolasports.com.
